Nowadays, achieving development in countries, need to be comprehensively planned in order to apply all resources, especially human resources, at the same time, under such situation, it would be possible to achieve the maximum added value at national level by accurate management and optimum resource efficiency. In one hand, increasingly developing petroleum industry in Iran, especially during 30 years post-Islamic Revolution era, has prompted to create abundant innovations, experiences, skills and knowledge in management and human resources, by which petroleum industry may be developed along the country's 20-year vision and the petroleum industry's vision. In other hand, to improve the level of petroleum industry and also to be successful at regional and international competition atmosphere, paying attention to human capital is priority.
Therefore, IIES, as the think tank of the I.R.Iran's petroleum industry, and in order to respond and resolve future issues and problems in the human resource fields, established the Management and Human Resource Research Center, in 2006.
